Wuzzon, people? I'm working from home today, and I'm cleaning up the comment style in this 5,000 line C file I own. It's full of comments that look like this:

    a+=3;     // now we're going to add 3 to a!

It's absolutely fucking hideous to put a comment off the end of a line like that. It's disgusting. It's horrible. It's strange that I've lived with this file like this for the past 2 years, but it's clean now. I chose to forgo actual work in favor of 3 hours of cutting and pasting each comment onto its own line, and in doing so sustained some sort of RSI shoulder injury. But I'm at home, so I'm about to fill the bathtub with milk and take a soak.



Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day. This picture marks the end of my presentation of "pictures of my neighbors' front porches" for this month, but tune back in for March's stunning "trash cans on my street" retrospective.
