My birthday's coming up in about 3 weeks. I had a beach bonfire to celebrate last year and was thinking about repeating that this year, but better to switch things up, right? Yesterday, after a couple of drinks, in a conversation that I was not present for, Daisie suggested we make it a pool party at her house. I didn't even know daisie had a swimming pool, and I consider myself a backseat driver in any planning process anyway, so I guess we're going with that. So I think that sounds pretty fun, but not fun enough. It needs a theme. It needs a robot theme. Have you ever been to a Robot Swim Party? No, you have not. This may be the first ever on the planet.

Yay robots! I am all for a robot swim party.
...do I have to make robots?
Posted by: daisie on June 15, 2003 10:13 PMThat's a good question. I think I should take responsibility for making robots though.
raj has volunteered to bring his robotic hammock!

Marco-Robot body?! No way. That's against the Natuaral Order!
Sparks-Well, you'd have the strength of five men-
Murphy-NOT five men! Five gorillas. But, since you're that strong, if you tried to pet a kitten, you'd crush it.
Marco-Oh, no! Poor kitty!
Murphy-Yeah, see what I'm talking about?"

Sadly I can't abide their "let's all stand still and talk for 15 minutes" formats, as the lack of moving colors quickly bores me.
