So I've been thinking about blogging recently. The washington post had an article in the Washington Post magazine a couple of weeks ago on Jessica Cutler who is the woman who got in trouble for blogging about all the Capital Hill people she was sleeping with. What I found really interesting about the story is that she only had her blog up for two weeks. I remember hearing about it at the time and I just assumed that this was something she had been doing for a while - but really it was only a couple of weeks before someone found it and all the scandal.
It's just sort of crazy the power of the blog really. Like my friend who just started dating this guy found his blog, which links to his ex-girlfriends blog (that in and of itself was something that caused her anxienty - why is he stilll linking to his ex-girlfriend's blog). But then on top of it she started reading through the ex-girlfriend's blog going back to when he used to be datin her. And I feel like that's just crazy to be able to find out all these things about this guy's life that like you're not supposed to get to until you've been dating for a while - if ever- and yet here it is linked to your blog.
Weird.
Happy Saturday!
